Job summary

AOB is seeking Extended Care Teachers in Clarksville, TN to supervise students after school and support daily learning with appropriate instructional activities. The role emphasizes safety, confidentiality, and collaboration with school staff to ensure a caring after-school environment.

The position requires a High School Diploma and a 90-hour child care certificate; Catholic faith alignment is preferred. This role includes competitive hourly pay and benefits such as sick leave and retirement

Job description

The Extended Care Teachers will be accountable for the care and supervision of children during the period before and after the school day has ended. Their primary responsibilities are the safety and well-being of children in their care, but they also provide some instruction or educational support.

• Make observations, collect data, and give input to Director.
• Maintains confidentiality regarding students, their families, and other employees.
• Responsible for the safety and active supervision of students at all times.
• Work collaboratively with other teachers, staff, and school administration.

Position Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma and 90-hour child care certification.
• Experience in a Catholic School setting preferred.
• An appreciation for young students and their families.
• Willingness to support the mission of the Catholic Faith and the Archdiocese of Baltimore Catholic Schools.

Pay Range: $18.00 - 19.00, Hourly
