Job summary

Forte Behavioral Health is seeking compassionate individuals to join our afterschool program in Corona-Norco Unified School District for the 2026-2027 school year as a Behavior Technician.

Based in Norco, CA, you will implement behavior intervention plans, provide direct student support in classrooms and on the playground, and use positive behavior strategies to teach replacement behaviors and coping skills.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with behavioral challenges.
• Complete training in behavior intervention techniques and strategies.
• Knowledge of behavioral principles and evidence-based interventions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to promoting positive behavior support and safety.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans developed by BCBA or Behavior Specialist.
• Provide direct support to students in various settings (classroom, playground, cafeteria).
• Utilize positive behavior strategies to teach replacement behaviors and coping skills.
• Collect data on student behavior and progress to guide decisions.
• Collaborate with school staff to create a cohesive support system.
• Communicate progress and concerns with supervising BCBA/Behavior Specialist.
• Participate in team meetings and maintain student confidentiality.
