Job summary

QSAC is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals for after school programs in Astoria and Queens Village, NYC. This entry level role includes paid training and ABA exposure to help individuals with autism achieve functional skills.

Shift is 2:45-6:00 PM, with a minimum of 3 days per week. Requires vaccination and high school diploma/GED; experience with autism/ID/DD is preferred and staff will support clinical plans.

Qualifications

• Entry level position with paid training.
• Interest in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and working with people with autism.
• Must be available for 2:45-6:00 PM shift, at least 3 days per week.
• Vaccination required.
• After School Program experience or interest is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Successful completion of ABA Learning series and evaluations.
• Implement and adhere to established treatment/program plans.
• Complete required program documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors and/or senior management.
