Early Learning Company is seeking a part-time Assistant Teacher to support the Huntey’s Clubhouse and Gro Childcare Academy brands. You will help implement the classroom curriculum, maintain a safe, nurturing environment, and engage with children during after-school sessions.

Responsibilities include collaborating with the Lead Teacher, monitoring progress, and reporting concerns. The role emphasizes positive communication with families and staff in a supportive, professional setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) within designated timeframe.
• Ability to lift 30–40 pounds and engage with children throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the classroom curriculum and adapt to each child’s needs.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing environment for outdoor and indoor activities.
• Support children’s development through structured activities and positive guidance.
• Collaborate with the Lead Teacher and communicate with parents/guardians.
• Monitor and report children’s progress and concerns to the Lead Teacher.
• Participate in professional development to enhance classroom effectiveness.
• Follow health and safety protocols and uphold licensing requirements.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
