Job summary

Great Hearts Academies in Irving is seeking an After-School Assistant Site Director for the Irving Campus. This part-time hourly role supports the Site Director in running after-school and summer programs, with activities ranging from homework help to physical activities.

This 11-month position begins in August and may require up to 22 hours per week. Requires a bachelor’s degree preferred, strong communication and leadership, background check and fingerprint clearance; US work authorization is

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, experience with children, strong communication and leadership.
• Must complete Texas DPS fingerprint clearance and background check.
• US work authorization is required.

Irving, TX 75038)**Reports To:** Campus Coordinator**FLSA Status:** Part-Time; Hourly**Job Details:*** Assists Site Director in leading the after-school and summer programs and staff* Programs provide homework assistance, educational activities, physical activities and more **Time Commitment:** This is an 11-month position beginning in August and continuing through Summer Programs in June. The weekly hours will be consistent with program hours and may increase to up to 22 hours depending on the week and needs of the program. It is a non-benefits-eligible position. **Requirements:*** Bachelor’s degree preferred, experience with children, excellent communication skills, and leadership experience with an independent work ethic and a heart of service to others.* Must complete Texas Department of Public Safety fingerprint clearance and background check.* Physical functions: Requires but is not limited to standing, sitting, repetitious hand and body movements, bending, squatting, and reaching.
