Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc seeks a Part-time Group Leader for Before & After School programs in Cumberland, RI. You will guide groups of students through engaging activities, support teachers, and help build a positive, safe environment after school hours.

Schedule is weekday mornings and afternoons, no weekends: 6:45-9:00am and 2:30-6:00pm; pay is $15 per hour with part-time benefits including health coverage.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs.
• Must be registered and have full clearance from the state childcare licensing agency.
• Proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of student explorers through activities in fitness, arts, technology, and more.
• Work collaboratively with peers to ignite children's sense of wonder.
• Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on students' interests and talents.
• Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, and parent relationships are fostered.

Education
