Job summary

The Chinese-American Planning Council (CPC) seeks an Activity Specialist for COMPASS Elementary in New York City to plan, implement, and lead engaging after-school activities that combine physical fitness, hands-on learning, and STEAM, while promoting literacy and positive youth development.

Under supervision of the Program Director, you will ensure safety, foster an inclusive environment, coordinate with Group Leaders, and complete mandatory professional development hours required by CPC and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; relevant experience preferred.
• Experience instructing youth in activities is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and lead physical fitness, hands-on learning, and STEAM activities.
• Supervise participants and ensure safety; promote inclusive environment.
