The New Canaan Community YMCA, Inc. is seeking enthusiastic after-school staff to supervise and engage participants in arts & crafts, science projects, games, and homework help from 2:30pm to 6pm, Monday through Friday.

This position follows the New Canaan Public School calendar and may offer full-day shifts during school closings for Vacation Camp. Qualified candidates should be 16 or older, relate well to early adolescent children, have babysitting or camp counseling experience, and

Qualifications

• Be 16 years of age or older.
• Experience in babysitting or camp counseling.
• Warm and friendly personality; patient with children.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children and activities in the after-school program.
• Ensure a safe, nurturing environment for participants.
• Assist with homework, arts & crafts, and games.
