Job summary

The Boys & Girls Club of Clifton is seeking an enthusiastic Academic Support & Career Exploration Teacher to work with middle and high school students in our 21st CCLC program after school.

This part-time, non-exempt role focuses on academic support, college and career readiness, and mentoring, with a schedule of 2-5 days per week, 2:40 PM-6:00 PM, at Clifton, NJ locations. Compensation is $50.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or other qualifications per program requirements.
• Experience with middle school and/or high school students.
• Experience providing academic support, tutoring, mentoring, or career-related programming.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized academic support to middle and high school students.
• Assist students with homework, projects, and study skills.
• Deliver instruction aligned with New Jersey standards and needs.
• Support college and career readiness and employability skills.
• Mentor and engage students, creating a positive after-school environment.
