Job summary

Installed Building Products is seeking a Production Operations Manager in Florida to oversee daily operations of finishing and paint-related production lines. The role focuses on aligning schedules with customer demand, monitoring workflow and equipment, and coordinating cross-functional teams to sustain smooth production flow.

Ideal candidates have lean manufacturing expertise, Six Sigma certification, and a background in automotive/industrial finishing environments, with a proven track record

Qualifications

• Must have strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
• Six Sigma certification or equivalent
• Experience leading production teams in finishing/paint-related processes
• Proven track record in driving continuous improvement initiatives

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of SDSM and After Paint production areas.
• Ensure production schedules meet customer demand and delivery targets.
• Monitor workflow, labor utilization, and equipment performance to optimize efficiency.
• Coordinate with upstream and downstream departments to maintain smooth production flow.
• Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, downtime, and quality issues.
