Job summary

The University of Central Florida invites applications for a Work Control Dispatcher II in Facilities Operations. You will respond to customer requests, coordinate with campus teams, and ensure safety and service quality.

As a dispatcher, you will process and prioritize requests, dispatch to appropriate crews, monitor critical alarms, and act as the initial after-hours advocate to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in high-volume operation or facilities management
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures

Responsibilities

• Process, prioritize, validate, and distribute incoming work requests for campus buildings via IWMS.
• Dispatch work to appropriate teams using SOPs while balancing urgency and routine demands.
• Notify stakeholders to reconcile work requests across the organization.
• Monitor and report after-hours messages to maintain SOP compliance and service standards.
• Respond to alarms and outages to minimize operational impact
