Job summary

Snowline Health in Diamond Springs serves the Greater Sacramento Region with compassionate hospice care. We are seeking an After Hours, On Call Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing support for patients and families in the evenings.

You will join a dedicated team delivering hospice and palliative care, with a focus on timely assessments, accurate documentation, and coordination with physicians. Must hold California RN licensure, CPR certification, and have 1+ year of nursing

Qualifications

• RN licensure in California (or eligible)
• Graduate from a BSN/ADN or nursing diploma program
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience; hospice preferred
• Excellent observation, problem solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and palliative care to patients and families
• Document patient visits and updates in the EMR in a timely manner
• Communicate with physicians, administrators, and team members
• Complete after-hours nursing assessments and treatments as prescribed
• Maintain regulatory compliance and company standards of care
