Job summary

Loma Linda University Health seeks a Supervisor Nursing to lead the nursing department during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. This role provides clinical and administrative decisions and coordinates with Central Staffing, Transfer Center, and Emergency Department to optimize patient flow.

The position requires a BSN; MSN is preferred, with a minimum of three years of acute care leadership. CA RN license and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• Minimum three years of acute care nursing leadership/administration experience.
• Active California RN license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing department operations and patient care services.
• Respond to emergencies and Code Blue situations; provide hands-on care as needed.
• Collaborate with Central Staffing, Transfer Center, Patient Placement, and Emergency Department to ensure patient flow.
• Make and implement decisions based on house-wide information and resources; lead, teach, and enforce policies.
