Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a House Supervisor to oversee clinical and leadership functions of the Medical Center after hours, weekends, and holidays. You will supervise staff, manage patient flow, and serve as a clinical resource while reporting to management.

Required are an associate degree in nursing, ongoing BSN, and at least four years of clinical experience. Strong leadership, communication, and regulatory knowledge are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• A minimum of an associate in nursing. BSN in progress within three years of hire (or advanced degree).
• Minimum four years of recent clinical experience and demonstrated leadership competencies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proficiency with MS Office/Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical and leadership functions of the Medical Center in the absence of unit managers and senior leadership.
• Ensure safe and effective patient care after hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Supervise staff, coordinate patient flow, and manage incident command as needed.
• Communicate concerns and events promptly to management and administration.
• Promote patient satisfaction and adherence to regulatory requirements across departments.
