Job summary

Gentiva Hospice is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for After Hours / On-Call hospice care in El Dorado, AR. You will respond to patient needs during evenings, nights, weekends and holidays, delivering compassionate, high-quality care in home and facility settings.

Ideal candidates have an active RN license in Arkansas, at least 1 year of nursing experience, CPR certification, and strong clinical judgment. You will work with LPNs/LVNs, CNAs, and other staff to coordinate care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of intended employment.
• 1+ year of nursing experience.
• CPR certification.
• Ability to provide care in patients' homes, facilities or other settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care after hours, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Serve as primary liaison between patients, families, physicians and the hospice team.
• Document visits and communications accurately in EMR.
• Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement programs.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
