Job summary

Hospice of the Valley is seeking an RN for home care visits after hours in the Phoenix area. The role supports patients in their homes or facilities, delivering skilled nursing care under an interdisciplinary team.

Weekend hours are required, with a focus on compassionate care and education for patients and families. The position emphasizes one-to-one patient interaction, symptom management, and documentation, within a culture of caring and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum one year of recent experience in medical, surgical or critical care as a professional nurse.
• Strong clinical assessment skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solution driven, creative and resourceful problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage time well and perform assigned duties with attention detail, accuracy and follow-through.
