Job summary

Somerset Hills Montessori School in Basking Ridge, New Jersey is seeking a caring Aftercare Teacher to supervise preschool children from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm, creating a warm, safe, and joyful afternoon.

You will support children during free-play, art, stories, outdoor activities, and snacks, model kindness and independence, maintain a tidy classroom, and communicate respectfully with families and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience working with preschool or early childhood children preferred.
• A warm, patient, and positive attitude.
• Dependable, responsible, and able to work well with a team.
• Ability to create a calm and engaging environment for young children.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred, or willingness to obtain it.
