The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Afrikaans or related field, 3+ years teaching, native or near-native fluency, and experience with educational technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Afrikaans or related field.
• 3+ years teaching Afrikaans.
• Native or near-native fluency in Afrikaans.
• Experience with both face-to-face and online teaching methodologies.
• Proficiency in educational technology and digital learning tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive Afrikaans language courses for various proficiency levels.
• Deliver engaging and interactive language lessons, both in-person and online.
• Develop curriculum materials, including textbooks, exercises, and assessment tools.
• Assess student language proficiency and provide regular, constructive feedback.
• Facilitate language practice activities, including conversation groups and cultural immersion exercises.
