Job summary

ACIQ? CACI is seeking an Exercise Assessment Planner to lead end-to-end evaluation support for AFRICOM J37 exercises, including design, data collection, analysis, and reporting.

The role emphasizes meeting Joint Staff J7 and DoW requirements to inform senior leaders’ training and operations decisions. The candidate will develop assessment frameworks, analyze data, synthesize findings, and produce actionable insights while integrating AI/ML tools and visualization platforms, with up to 100%

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field with 3 years specialized experience or Bachelor's degree with 6 years specialized experience or 10 years specialized experience.
• 7+ years of experience in exercise assessment or military training evaluation.
• Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative analytic techniques.
• TS/SCI clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive assessment frameworks tied to training objectives, Joint Learning Areas, Universal Joint Tasks, and command priorities.
• Work with AFRICOM J8 assessors to produce data-driven methodologies and collection tools.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis, including surveys, SME interviews, observer inputs, and structured analytic techniques.
• Synthesize findings into actionable insights and recommendations to refine future exercises and operational practices.
• Produce high-level analytical products, including assessment summaries, insights reports, trend analyses, and after-action documentation.
• Support exercises from design through execution, hotwash, and after-action review, ensuring continuity of learning across events.
• Integrate AI/ML-enabled assessment tools and advanced visualization platforms when available.
• Create Senior Leader briefings detailing project impacts, cost/benefit analysis, risks, and alignment with long-term command objectives.

The Opportunity:
