Qualifications

• 8+ years in senior operations, market launch, or public policy roles within regulated sectors.
• Deep understanding of Africa’s regulatory and maritime landscape.
• Proven track record closing complex B2B partnerships and joint ventures.
• Strong stakeholder management and diplomatic negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory Strategy & Market De-risking: Build relationships with national maritime authorities and regulatory bodies across Africa.
• Market Entry & Local Infrastructure: Develop scalable launch playbooks and establish import/logistics frameworks.
• Maritime Stakeholder Engagement: Map, engage, and secure partnerships with fleets, ports, and maritime organizations.
• Regional Leadership: Build and mentor a local cross-disciplinary team; align global teams to Africa-specific needs.
• Market intelligence: Provide primary feedback to leadership on regional dynamics and risks.
