The role requires navigating complex regulatory regimes, building alliances with fleets and port authorities, and leading a cross-functional team to ensure scalable market success across Africa.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in senior operations or market launch roles.
• Experience in maritime, logistics, or highly regulated sectors.
• Proven track record in government relationships and partnerships.
• Ability to draft market entry plans and negotiate partnerships.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of French/Arabic/Portuguese/Swahili preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory strategy and market de-risking across Africa.
• Develop market entry playbooks and import/logistics setup.
• Build local vendor ecosystem and partnerships.
• Manage stakeholder engagement and partnerships across fleets, ports, and authorities.
• Lead regional team and align with global product, engineering, and legal teams.
