Job summary

VMRC is seeking a full-time exempt coordinator to serve as the primary resident contact from admissions through transfer and discharge. You will build strong relationships with residents and families, connect them to services, and ensure regulatory compliance across HUD standards.

You will lead housing policy implementation, coordinate with leadership, and support daily operations to promote a resident-centered, compliant community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services or related field required.
• At least 2 years of experience working with senior adults preferred.
• Strong supervision and coordination abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across the organization and engage staff, residents, and families.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary resident contact from admissions through transfer/discharge.
• Build relationships with residents and families; link to needed services.
• Ensure resident issues are addressed in a timely manner.
• Review and implement housing policies in alignment with HUD regulations.
• Support HUD compliance and related operations and subsidies.
• Assist in marketing, admissions, and wait-list management.
• Provide resident support during discharge/transfer processes.
• Maintain documentation and reporting as required.
