Job summary

Dominium is seeking a Leasing Consultant for Magnolia Pointe, a 266-unit community in Durham, NC. The role blends customer service with sales, including presenting properties, guiding applicants through housing processes, and maintaining Fair Housing compliance.

The ideal candidate greets prospects via phone, email, text, and in person; conducts tours, closes leases, and follows up with non-leasing prospects. Experience in hospitality or retail helps, and a valid driver’s license may be required.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent education required. Sales and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Well-developed people skills to handle diverse personalities.
• Basic math skills for rent, fees and deposits.

Responsibilities

• Greets and assists prospective residents via phone, email, text, and in person; builds rapport and offers property tours.
• Presents available units, closes leases per company standards and follows up with prospects.
• Inspects and ensures homes are clean and presentable for tours.
• Maintains knowledge of features, schools, hospitals, shopping and amenities for prospects.
• Completes Guest Cards and enters data in Yardi PMS; guides applicants through the process.
• Supports off-site marketing activities to drive occupancy goals.
• Assists with resident events and retention activities.
