Community Action Center seeks a Leasing Agent to manage advertising, screening applicants, preparing leases, and coordinating unit turn processes in Whitman County. The role includes greeting residents, handling inquiries, and ensuring eligibility with tenant rights explained.

The position requires 3+ years in property management, an AA degree or higher, and willingness to work on-site with mileage reimbursement. Training on HUD/LIHTC compliance will be provided.

Formación

• 3+ years property management experience including financial processing and leasing.
• AA/AS or higher in business, property management, real estate or related field.
• Insurability and ability to be bonded for housing programs.
• Willingness to work at Whitman County locations; mileage reimbursed.

Responsabilidades

• Greet walk-ins and provide rental information via multiple channels.
• Process applications, verify details, and coordinate lease signing.
• Prepare leases, renewals, and annual recertifications.
• Show units and determine applicant eligibility; inform on rights.
• Track lease expirations and coordinate unit vacancies with maintenance.
• Maintain forms and records; manage notices and compliance tasks.
• Attend HUD/LIHTC/HOME trainings as required.
