Job summary

Baker Tilly’s Development & Community Advisory team is seeking 2027 summer interns for our Affordable Housing practice. This internship offers the chance to work with leaders delivering financial advisory services to real estate clients in the U.S.

As an Affordable Housing intern, you will learn, support analyses, assist with financing activities, and collaborate with staff and mentors across multiple industries and clients, from nonprofits to multinational corporations.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Affordable Housing, Accounting, Finance, or related programs.
• At least one academic term remaining after internship.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
• No prior professional experience required; internships/work experience are a plus.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Learn and execute meaningful work engagements with impact.
• Support engagements with analyses and deliverables related to clients’ objectives.
• Assist with financing analyses, due diligence and funding evaluation.
• Collaborate with staff, seniors, managers and principals across industries.
• Engage with nonprofit to multinational clients and public housing authorities.
• Learn from mentors in an open work environment.
• Join weeklong intern orientation to hit the ground running.
