Job summary

The Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support department managers in development, real estate services and construction activities in Los Angeles. The role involves due diligence, grant planning, LIHTC, CDLAC financing and regulatory compliance.

You will conduct financial analyses, assist with policy development, and coordinate cross-functional initiatives across real estate and capital projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public/Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Real Estate Management, Engineering, Architecture or closely related field.
• At least 3 years’ experience in project management, real property financing/development/construction in government or affordable housing.
• Valid California Class C driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist Department Managers in managing and overseeing development, real estate and construction services.
• Conduct financial and operational analyses, support grant applications and financing, and ensure compliance with regulations.
