Job summary

Montgomery Housing Partnership is seeking a Construction Asset Manager to oversee a designated affordable housing portfolio, driving asset value and financial sustainability across properties in Maryland.

You will manage capital improvement initiatives, monitor reserve funds, ensure LIHTC and regulatory compliance, and collaborate with development, property management, and finance teams to preserve and enhance portfolio performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• Minimum of five years of progressive asset management or construction management experience.
• Strong knowledge of LIHTC, HUD Project-Based Section 8, and Housing Choice Voucher programs.

Responsibilities

• Strategic asset and financial management of a designated portfolio.
• Oversee capital improvement projects and budgets, including draws and warranties.
• Direct long-term financial and physical planning for sustainable ownership.
• Monitor compliance with LIHTC, debt, equity, and financing requirements.
