Job summary

Real Estate Equities Group is seeking a Compliance Specialist in Saint Paul, MN to manage applicant resident files and ensure property compliance with funding requirements. The role supports lease-up activities, trains staff, and collaborates with the compliance team.

The position requires at least 3 years of affordable housing compliance experience, familiar with Fair Housing laws, and ability to travel up to 50% of the time while working on-site at REE sites in the Metro and Rochester areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of affordable housing compliance experience, including Housing Tax Credit.
• Strong written and oral communication abilities.
• Excellent organization and multi-tasking capabilities.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Yardi and Rent Café is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Track annual recertifications and ensure timely completion.
• Audit move-in and recertification packets for regulatory compliance.
• Review compliance data in Yardi/Rent Café and generate income certification.
• Verify signatures for move-ins and annual recertifications.
• Audit digital resident files for 3rd party audits.
