Job summary

WB Residential Communities, Inc. is seeking an Affordable Housing Compliance Manager with Section 8, LIHTC and HOME experience to oversee lease-ups, recertifications, and re-rentals across portfolio sites.

Ideal candidates will read, abstract, and summarize regulatory agreements; perform EIV reporting; audit files; and travel within Westchester NY (with possible CT assignments) to support onsite compliance and training.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Affordable Housing (LIHTC/Section 8).
• LIHTC certification and COS/AHM certification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel/Word).
• Experience with property management software (Yardi/RealPage/OneSite).
• Analytical, detail-oriented and proactive with strong communication.
• Willingness to travel within NY and CT areas.

Responsibilities

• Conduct applicant outreach screening per lotteries and eligibility.
• Assist residents and coordinate move-ins/leases.
• Run monthly/quarterly EIV reports and address discrepancies.
• Enter into repayment agreements for Project Based Section 8.
• Update waiting lists and maintain detailed notes.
• Verify incomes/assets and calculate household eligibility.
• Complete Housing Choice Vouchers and submit to PHAs.
• Travel to sites as needed and train staff on compliance.
