Job summary

Cambridge Real Estate Services is seeking a Compliance Specialist to evaluate and monitor properties for compliance with affordable housing programs. This in-office role is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, coordinating with the compliance department to ensure readiness for audits.

The ideal candidate has a B.S. in business/real estate or equivalent experience, 5+ years in property management or housing regulation, and expertise in HUD/LIHTC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in business, finance, real estate, or related field.
• Five+ years in property management, asset management, or housing regulatory agency with compliance focus.
• Experience with RD, HUD, and LIHTC programs.
• Working knowledge of Yardi preferred; TRACS/MINC/EIV familiarity.
• Certifications such as COS, C3P, HCCP, NCP, CSC, CLS, or LIHTC certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure tax credit project tenant files are 100% compliant.
• Ensure HUD project tenant files are 100% compliant.
• Generate and provide monthly reports to government agencies.
• Coordinate and perform file audits and recertifications for HUD/LIHTC/RD.
• Provide orientation and training to Property Managers on compliance.
