Job summary

Related Affordable is seeking an Affordable Housing Compliance Specialist to ensure HUD/LIHTC program compliance across CT, MA, or GA. You will review qualifications, maintain tenant records, and coordinate with teams nationwide to support accurate audits and reporting.

Ideal candidates have COS certification, 5+ years of affordable housing experience, and the ability to work autonomously while collaborating with others.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of relevant experience with Project Based Section 8 HUD, LIHTC and other affordable housing programs.
• COS certification is required; HCCP is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HUD LIHTC, Fair Housing, and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor HUD and LIHTC regulations; implement changes.
• Maintain tenant files and records per HUD/LIHTC regs.
• Review move-in and transfer files for eligibility and program compliance.
• Coordinate with reviewers; provide accurate reporting on lease-ups and moves.
• Conduct onsite and remote audits to confirm compliance.
• Assist with annual reporting and agency responses.
