Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Managing Director, business development (affluent segment) within the Private Client team in New York.

You will lead the go-to-market and growth strategy for the affluent segment, aligning partners across the firm to deliver a consistent client experience at scale. You will shape how relationship teams engage clients across acquisition, deepening, and retention using clear priorities and disciplined execution, with governance, rhythms, and risk-aware

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressively senior leadership experience.
• Experience setting strategy and delivering growth at scale.
• Experience influencing executive stakeholders and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience establishing governance, operating rhythms, and decision-making processes.
• Experience using financial and performance data to drive decisions and remove roadblocks.
• Experience managing budgets and headcount tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Set and execute affluent-segment business development strategy with measurable outcomes.
• Lead onboarding and development of relationship managers with HR and training teams.
• Drive engagement programs to improve retention and deepen relationships with clients.
• Define and deliver a roadmap for centralized client insights and acquisition workflows.
• Partner to design and govern a referral strategy with clear service standards and escalation paths.
• Own incentive strategy and performance outcomes with analytics tied to business objectives.
• Establish governance routines and decision rights for rollout and change management.
• Collaborate with data and tech teams to scale insights and AI implications.
