The New York Yankees affiliate is seeking an Affiliate Video and Tech Assistant to manage video and data collection, oversee travel logistics, and provide administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations for their assigned affiliate.

Key duties include charting games, supporting Spring Training data collection, coordinating travel itineraries, and troubleshooting technology with the Video Coordinators and Baseball Systems staff.

Qualificações

• Experience charting games with BATS is preferred.
• Previous experience in a professional baseball clubhouse is preferred.
• Experience with baseball technology (TrackMan, Edgertronic cameras, KinaTrax, Hawk-Eye, Yakkertech, etc.) is preferred.
• Deep understanding of baseball rules and how to score a baseball game.
• Ability to accurately identify pitch types.
• Availability to work long hours, including holidays and weekends.
• Ability to carry heavy equipment, climb stairs, and set up cameras throughout a stadium.

Responsabilidades

• Chart games and manage video and data collection for their assigned affiliate.

• Coordinate break-camp travel and itineraries for players and staff going to their assigned affiliate.
• Manage affiliate travel logistics and administrative duties including bus schedules, flights, hotel reservations, etc.
• Troubleshoot technology issues with assistance from Video Coordinators and Baseball Systems staff.
• Collaborate with coaches and analysts to prepare advance scouting reports for each game.
• Capture and upload non-game video and data from bullpens, batting practice, defensive drills, etc.
• Oversee all high-speed video capture and upload processes for games and non-game events.
• Oversee TrackMan, Hawk-Eye, and KinaTrax operations and workflows at their assigned affiliate.
• Assist the Amateur, International, and Pro Scouting departments with miscellaneous needs.
