Job summary

Monarch Money is seeking an Affiliate Marketing Associate to join the Growth Marketing team and help source, onboard, and optimize affiliate partners driving a key growth channel. This early-career role offers hands-on learning in affiliate discipline and partner management.

You will work with the Head of Search and Affiliate Marketing, collaborating across Growth Product, Data, and Creative to improve funnel conversion and increase Free Trial Starts.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in affiliate, partner, influencer, or growth marketing.
• Hands-on experience with an affiliate platform (Impact preferred).
• Comfort with ad-hoc dashboards and simple growth calculations.
• Strong verbal and written communication for partner-facing work.
• Curious, resourceful, bias-for-action mindset in a startup.

Responsibilities

• Source and onboard new affiliate partners using various tools.
• Manage day-to-day partner communication and onboarding.

The Role

Monarch is seeking an Affiliate Marketing Associate to join our Growth Marketing team during a period of hyper-growth. Reporting to our Head of Search and Affiliate Marketing, you'll help source, onboard, and optimize the affiliate partners that drive one of Monarch's most important acquisition channels. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role for an early-career marketer who's eager to learn the affiliate discipline and grow into partner management.

What You'll Do

• Source and onboard new affiliate partners using tools like SEMrush, Similarweb, Publisher Discovery, Affistash, and Aspire

• Manage day-to-day partner communication and keep onboarding moving smoothly

• Monitor partner performance, build ad-hoc reporting, and flag anomalies or performance gaps

• Recommend and help implement optimizations to grow affiliate Free Trial Starts and subscriptions

• Partner cross-functionally with Growth Product, Data, and Creative to improve conversion across the affiliate funnel

What You’ll Bring

• 2-3 years in affiliate, partner, influencer, or growth marketing (or a closely adjacent role)

• Hands-on experience in an affiliate platform — Impact preferred (CJ or ShareASale also relevant)

• Comfort with basic data analysis: ad-hoc dashboards, spotting anomalies, and simple calculations like period-over-period growth

• Strong verbal and written communication — this is a partner-facing role with frequent outreach

• A curious, resourceful, bias-for-action mindset and comfort working through ambiguity in a startup environment

Nice to Have's

• Basic knowledge of CRO principles

• Experience in fintech, subscription, or B2C/SaaS businesses
