Job summary

Akima Global Logistics is seeking qualified professionals to support FTOS functions, including aircrew Training support and Stan/Eval in training squadrons. The focus is on non-flying duties performed as additional duties.

Qualified candidates must obtain a Secret clearance, have 2+ years in a DoD operational flying unit, and demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint. Experience with TIMS/GTIMS/PEX and Access is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Must obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Minimum 2 years in a DoD operational flying unit.
  • Minimum 2 years with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to operate TIMS, GTIMS and/or PEX.
  • Experience using SharePoint.
  • MS Access highly desired.

  • Notify crewmembers, scheduling, and leadership of upcoming and overdue testing, evaluation, and training requirements via e-mail and IAW local standards.
  • Opt members for checkride testing in MS as they enter the 6th month prior to their checkride expiration date.
  • Review student evaluations and report evaluation trends monthly, or per local procedures.
  • Coordinate with the Stan/Eval officer to review and update student/permanent party records (Form 8/4350/942s), folders (FEFs) AFMAN 11-2(MDS) V1for the attached aircraft.
  • Take and log inputs, then prepare coordination for the Chief Stan/Eval Officer to update flying publications as needed.
  • Issue, inventory, maintain and upkeep squadron-issued devices and equipment for the Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) as directed by MAJCOM/WG directives.

Job description

Akima Global Logistics is looking for professionals to support FTOS functions. FTOS functions include aircrew Training support, and Standardization & Evaluation (Stan/Eval) support. The focus of work shall be to support non-flying duties in training squadrons that rated personnel traditionally perform as additional duties.

Responsibilities
  • The Contractor shall notify crewmembers, scheduling, and unit leadership of upcoming and overdue testing, evaluation, and training requirements via e-mail and IAW local standards.
  • The Contractor shall opt members for checkride testing in MS as they enter the 6th month prior to their checkride expiration date.

Qualifications
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a DoD operational flying unit (active duty, guard/reserve, contractor or civilian).
  • Must have a minimum two (2) years of experience working with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Must have the ability to operate the following systems/programs: Computer based training and integrated management system (TIMS, GTIMS and/or PEX).
  • Must have experience using SharePoint websites and communities of practice.
  • Microsoft Access highly desired.
