OVME Aesthetics in East Cobb, GA is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join the Studio Team. You will support clinical staff, prep rooms, educate clients, and help with patient flow, while handling administrative tasks and coordinating studio operations.

The role requires 1+ year MA experience, availability for evenings and Saturdays, and a cross-functional approach with strong organizational and communication skills. Experience in cosmetic procedures is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Experience in a medical office or cosmetic industry is a plus.
• Additional Medical Assistant Credentialing (CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA) is a plus.
• Must be available to work evenings and Saturdays.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Self-motivation, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn.
• Sales skills and ability to build productive business relationships.
• Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow.
• Role is cross functional as Medical Assistant and Studio Coordinator.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinical staff in non-surgical aesthetic procedures (lasers, injectables, peels).
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure supplies and equipment are ready.
• Prepare clients for treatments and address concerns for comfort and safety.
• Sterilize and maintain instruments and treatment areas per infection control.
• Support clinical staff during procedures.
• Document patient histories and skin assessments accurately.
• Educate clients on pre- and post-treatment care.
• Collaborate with clinic team on treatment plans.
• Greet and check-in patients; schedule appointments and follow-ups.
• Manage patient records and confidentiality.
• Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies.
• Answer calls and provide information on services and pricing.
