Job summary

OVME in Darien, CT is seeking a licensed Medical Aesthetician to deliver advanced skincare treatments in a patient-centric setting. You will conduct consultations, perform non-surgical procedures, and guide clients on effective skincare regimens.

Emphasis on safety, record-keeping, and collaboration with the Studio Team. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in medical aesthetics, strong communication, and the ability to work closing shifts and Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Licensed aesthetician with valid license.
• Minimum 2 years of concentrated experience in medical aesthetics.
• CRM experience with Zenoti is a plus.
• Ability to work 1-2 closing shifts weekly and rotating Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough client consultations to assess skincare concerns and medical history.
• Perform advanced skincare treatments such as chemical peels, HydraFacial, and laser services.
• Administer facials and skincare services with professional techniques.
• Provide skincare regimen recommendations and lifestyle guidance.
• Use medical-grade equipment safely and follow protocols.
• Educate clients on sun protection and overall skincare health.
• Document treatment plans, progress, and any reactions.
• Collaborate with Aesthetic Practitioners on comprehensive plans.
• Maintain accurate client records with confidentiality.

Description

We are seeking a talented and licensed Medical Aesthetician to join OVME. As a Medical Aesthetician, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional skincare treatments and services to our clients. Your expertise in various non-surgical aesthetic procedures and advanced skincare techniques will help our clients achieve optimal skin health and rejuvenation while ensuring a safe and comfortable experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough consultations with clients to assess their skincare concerns, medical history, and lifestyle factors, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their needs and goals.
• Perform a wide range of advanced skincare treatments, such as chemical peels, HydraFacial, laser treatments, and other non-surgical procedures, tailored to individual client requirements.
• Administer facials and other skincare services using professional techniques and high-quality products to improve skin tone, texture, and overall appearance.
• Offer expert advice on skincare regimens, including product recommendations and lifestyle modifications, to maintain and enhance treatment results.
• Utilize medical-grade equipment and technologies effectively and safely, adhering to established protocols and safety guidelines.
• Educate clients on proper skincare practices, including sun protection, nutrition, and lifestyle choices that promote healthy skin.
• Conduct pre- and post-treatment assessments, documenting treatment plans, progress, and any adverse reactions or complications.
• Collaborate with Aesthetic Practitioners to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed client records, including treatment notes, consent forms, and progress photos, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in skincare, cosmetic procedures, and industry trends through continuous education and professional development.

Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise

Education / Experience Requirements

• Licensed Aesthetician.
• Minimum 2 years of concentrated experience in medical aesthetics and all other premium aesthetic services is preferred.
• Medical CRM/Zenoti experience is a plus.
• Must be able to work 1-2 closing shifts a week and rotational Saturdays.
