RTX's Collins Aerospace division seeks a skilled welder to produce heat exchangers and environmental control components. You will read specifications and blueprints, perform fusion and brazing welding, and ensure traceable quality documentation.

The role emphasizes safety, precision, and teamwork in a fast-paced aerospace environment. The position starts on the 2nd shift (3:30pm–12am, Mon–Fri) with potential training on 1st or 2nd shift for up to 3 months, and offers comprehensive benefits and

Formación

• 1-2 years relevant experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Production welding experience (preferred).
• Experience with TIG and thin sheet aluminum welding (preferred).
• Experience in the aerospace industry (preferred).
• 5-7 years of relevant experience (preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Operate welding, soldering and brazing equipment to manufacture heat exchangers, water separators and environmental control system components.
• Follow specifications, blueprints, orders and written/verbal instructions within established methods.
• Ensure documentation and tooling are quality compliant and traceable.
• Perform preventative maintenance and participate in audits of processes and work areas.
• Move parts and materials to designated locations and keep work areas organized.
• Work on 2nd shift: 3:30pm to 12am, Monday to Friday.
