Job summary

Advanced Cooling Technologies, Inc. (ACT) is seeking a Welding Technician on 2nd shift to support engineering and manufacturing of aluminum aerospace products. The role focuses on TIG welding, leak testing, and precision assembly in a high‑reliability environment.

You will work with engineering, follow AWS D17.1 procedures, and use calipers, micrometers and a FARO Arm to inspect hardware. ACT offers competitive pay and strong benefits in a collaborative facility setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• TIG welding training or relevant experience required.
• Experience with AWS D17.1 standard is desirable.

Responsibilities

• TIG weld aluminum aerospace products and assemblies.
• Follow procedures for precision leak/pressure testing and sealing.
• Support engineering in tooling design, fabrication and testing.
• Inspect hardware with calipers, micrometers, feeler gauges and FARO Arm.
• Document manufacturing steps and traceability for flight hardware.
• Apply initiative and knowledge in fabrication and test of thermal products.
• Assure product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Assist in developing fabrication and test procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance as required.
• Perform in-process and final inspections as required.
