Job summary

Segers Aero Corporation in Fairhope, AL seeks a Welder to join our team and support maintenance and repair of aerospace components. The role requires welding in TIG, MIG, and Stick methods and reading prints to ensure proper assembly.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, plus welding training or experience, and must pass background and FAA/DOT screenings. The schedule is a 9/80 with every other Friday off.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required with welding experience or a two-year training plus experience.
• Certified Welder per AWS D17 or equivalent is required.
• Must pass background check and FAA/DOT related requirements.

Responsibilities

• Weld repair components per overhaul manual using TIG, MIG, Stick, Braze.
• Operate drill press, grit blast machine, ovens and related equipment.
• Read welding prints, verify traveler, and follow directions.
• Handle gas cylinders safely and adhere to safety policies.
