Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a senior quality assurance professional to establish and sustain quality systems across development and production, ensuring AS9100 compliance and robust manufacturing support. You will review build documents, drive corrective actions, and partner with design and manufacturing teams to elevate product quality.

The ideal candidate has a strong aerospace background, root cause analysis skills, and hands-on experience with GD&T and inspection processes.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or equivalent STEM degree; 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Quality assurance experience in production; aerospace/space launch preferred.
• Familiarity with AS9100/ISO9001 quality systems.
• U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or eligible status to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Establish, implement, maintain, and enforce quality system processes for development and production environments.
• Measure, analyze, and improve quality system performance aligned with quality goals.
• Review and approve manufacturing build documents and nonconformance records.
• Perform periodic audits of quality system applications per AS9100.
• Participate in design reviews and recommend quality improvements.
• Collaborate with customers and teams to raise quality awareness and training.
