Job summary

HEICO Aerospace seeks a highly organized Warehouse Operations & Purchasing Lead to oversee daily shipping, receiving, inventory, and purchasing for repair operations.

Ideal candidate ensures materials are received, tracked, stored, and distributed efficiently while maintaining ERP inventory accuracy. Strong communication, proactive problem-solving, and attention to detail are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or related education preferred.
• 3+ years of warehouse, inventory, purchasing, or operations experience.
• Experience in repair, manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environment preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP/inventory software.
• Strong organizational, time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse operations including inspection of incoming shipments, packaging, labeling, and coordinating freight carriers.
• Manage purchasing of parts, tools, consumables, and supplies; maintain inventory levels and relationships with suppliers.
• Track inventory trends and improve stocking strategies; develop and improve warehouse procedures and purchasing processes.
• Monitor KPIs such as inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and purchasing costs; support other operational projects as needed.
