Qualifications

• Two years of aircraft maintenance or related technical experience or a suitable technical accreditation.
• Exposure to visual inspection methods and relevant tools.
• Proficiency with gages including calipers, micrometers and borescopes.
• General knowledge of turbine engine components and shop processes.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English; basic math skills required.
• Ability to interpret instructions and follow procedures precisely.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect components for wear, damage and conformance to standards.
• Measure parts with micrometers, calipers and other inspection tools.
• Determine serviceability and overhaul condition per OEM manuals.
• Interpret OEM standards and document findings thoroughly.
• Review customer and vendor documentation for compliance.
• Report findings clearly and accurately; track locations and parameters.
• Collaborate with engineering on new procedures and repairs.
