Job summary

The intermediate level Visual/Dimensional Inspector will inspect aerospace turbine engine components for airworthiness and conformance to OEM standards during receiving, in-process, and final inspections. This position will verify and validate work performed by CRT and subcontractors to meet specifications in accordance with FAA and other world regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

• Two years of aircraft maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Experience with visual inspection methods.
• Proficiency with gauges including calipers, borescopes, micrometers.
• General knowledge of turbine engine components and shop processes.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect turbine engine components for wear, damage and conformance.
• Measure parts with micrometers, calipers, gages to determine sizes.
• Verify serviceability, reparability and overhaul condition.
• Document inspection findings and report results.
• Coordinate with engineering on procedures and repairs for improvement.
