Job summary

Component Repair Technologies, Inc. (CRT) in Mentor, OH, is seeking a Visual/Dimensional Inspector on 2nd shift to inspect aerospace turbine engine components for airworthiness and conformance to OEM and FAA standards.

You will train in a state-of-the-art facility, measure with micrometers, calipers, and other gauges, and work with the engineering team to ensure continuous improvement while documenting findings.

Qualifications

• Two years of aerospace maintenance or similar experience.
• Experience with gauges and measurement tools.
• Ability to read OEM manuals and follow written procedures.
• English proficiency and able to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect components for wear, corrosion, and damage.
• Measure parts with micrometers, calipers, and other gauges.
• Determine serviceability, reparability, and overhauled condition.
• Interpret OEM manuals for continued airworthiness and document findings.
• Check customer and vendor documentation for accuracy.
• Report all findings clearly with locations and parameters.
• Collaborate with engineering on procedures and repairs.
