Job summary

Component Repair Technologies, Inc. (CRT) in Mentor, OH seeks a capable Visual and Dimensional Inspector to verify airworthiness and conformance to OEM standards for turbine engine components during receiving, in-process, and final inspections.

Join a state-of-the-art facility and participate in comprehensive in-house training to develop the necessary skills for continued airworthiness inspection and quality assurance within CRT’s aerospace MRO operations.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in aircraft maintenance or equivalent technical accreditation.
• Exposure to visual inspection methods and aids for inspected articles.
• Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, dial indicators or similar measurement tools.
• General knowledge of turbine engine components, repairs and shop processes.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect turbine engine components for wear, damage and serviceability.
• Measure parts using micrometers, calipers and other inspection tools.
• Determine feature conformance to OEM manuals and continued airworthiness standards.
• Document inspection results clearly in reports and forms.
• Coordinate with engineering on procedures and repairs for continuous improvement.
• Review customer and vendor documentation and CRT records for accuracy.
• Support a team environment and participate in in-house training.
