GE Aerospace is seeking a qualified Inspector to evaluate turbine engine parts for reparability by performing visual and dimensional inspections. The role requires understanding customer work scope and following the Repair Station Manual and company policies.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma with relevant inspection experience and may benefit from an associate's degree. Overtime may be required and safety procedures must be followed at all times.

Qualifikationen

• Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years job related experience.
• Requires the use of measuring instruments, such as scales, micrometer, calipers, dial indicators, gauges, etc.
• Must be able to comprehend and interpret technical documents and have general knowledge of data entry.
• This role may encounter high risk or hazardous operations and/or include working shifts beyond a standard workweek.
• Age 18+ by joining and willingness to work overtime.

Aufgaben

• The inspector's initial, signature or stamp entered on the required forms indicates inspection and conformance to approved Customer/Manufacturer's specifications, Work Order and Supplemental Engineering instructions and Repair Station Manual requirements.
• Responsible for understanding required functions and specifications for each part to repair release to service, including customer work scope and preference.
• Responsible for compliance with Repair Station Manual and Company Policies and Procedures Manual.
• Tests products for structural defects such as leaks and internal cracks.
• Tests mechanisms for clearance and freedom of movement.
• Must adhere to safety procedures, i.e., lock-out/tag-out; report safety concerns; use PPE as required.
• Responsible for meeting all quality assurance standards of the product.
• Performs other job duties as assigned.
