Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics in Elyria, OH seeks a Value Stream Manager to lead a cross-functional team in executing the annual operating plan with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost. The role drives continuous improvement and aligns with business needs to grow the value stream and deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience directly supporting operations.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and costs.
• Strong leadership and coordination of people and resources.
• Experience driving continuous improvement and lean initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Order Management, Supply Chain, Scheduling, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance and leaders to ensure alignment.
• Drive accountability for daily performance reporting and KPIs (safety, quality, delivery, cost, growth).
• Champion kaizen events and lead lean initiatives to improve productivity and operational excellence.
• Develop and mentor associates to build a highly skilled, customer-focused team.
• Participate in budget preparation and long-range capital planning for financial alignment.
• Own and implement the continuous improvement roadmap to achieve objectives and future-state vision.
• Summarize operational results and prepare presentations for executive and customer reviews.
• Promote safe work habits in accordance with OSHA standards and Crane policies.
• Support Crane Business System initiatives and standard work improvements.
