Job summary

Lafarge & Egge is seeking an entry-level Tube Fitting Installer in Everett, WA to join our aerospace manufacturing team. You will learn and perform precision tube swaging on aerospace-grade tubing and fittings in accordance with strict quality and engineering standards.

We provide on-the-job training; prior aerospace experience is not required. The role offers a stable day shift with competitive benefits and growth opportunities in a long-term aerospace career.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret aerospace drawings and parts lists.
• Mechanical aptitude for operating precision tooling and hydraulic equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow process steps in exact sequence.
• Basic math for measurement and dimensional verification using calipers and gauges.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and parts lists to determine swage type, tolerances, and marking requirements.
• Verify tube and fitting numbers, quantities, and revision levels against work orders.
• Set up swage equipment based on tube size and wall thickness.
• Install fittings using proper tooling, lubrication, and specifications per standards.
• Perform first-part verification and obtain sign-off before production runs.
• Inspect completed swages for proper seating and uniform deformation.
• Track part counts, sign off work orders, and maintain production records.
• Clean parts and tooling after each job and return equipment to storage.
• Elevate non-conforming parts to Quality immediately.
