Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Manchester, CT is seeking a Production Assembler I for a first shift on-site role.

You will assemble aerospace components to exact specifications, read blueprints, and use hand and power tools along with precision measuring instruments to ensure quality and traceability. Responsibilities include building tube assemblies, fixture conformity, dimensional inspections, and documenting production activities while adhering to safety, ITAR, and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing or machining preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Proficient with hand/power tools and measuring instruments.
• Able to lift and move heavy components.
• ITAR/export control eligibility may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assemble aerospace components to customer specs.
• Build and prepare tube assemblies for weld/braze.
• Read and interpret blueprints and travelers.
• Use calipers and micrometers to inspect parts.
• Maintain traceability records of production.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance to resolve issues.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ITAR requirements.
